Your tasks

In cooperation with our team leads and project managers of the other departments (Social Media-, Email-. SEO/SEA- and Online Birds Marketing) you are jointly responsible for

1. Our Online Birds inhouse marketing activities such as

• Optimization of our corporate design & identity
• Business cards, flyers & smaller brochures
• Presentation materials (e.g. PowerPoint presentations)
• Design of diverse on- & offline advertising materials
• Creation of banners

2. The design of online marketing material for our hotel customers such as

• Web: Web design considering conversion & usability optimization, SEO & different devices
• E-mail Marketing: Designs regarding Newsletters and arrival & departure emails
• Social Media: Postings, Stories and competition designs
• SEO/SEA: Functional & interactive ad layouts

3. What else?

• You create an own design training concept & give regular inhouse trainings to project managers from other departments
• You are responsible for establishing structures and processes for our new design department, that serves as a supplier for all the other departments
• You are a source of inspiration for creative ideas & the use of new (web) tools
• You are working on our new innovations, products & platforms

In summary, all of your tasks and the position in general is very diverse from small daily to-do’s to larger projects.

Your profile

• Bachelor of Arts in media design, web design or similar
• Minimum 2-3 years of practical experience in the field of web and media design, ideally for the hotel and tourism industry
• Know-how in UX design
• Familiarity with InVision & Adobe Creative Cloud programs as well as working with a professional Windows notebook
• Creative talent with a strong sense of layout, typography & colour
• International work experience & online marketing knowledge is a big plus
• High motivation, structured way of working & interest in the tourism industry
• Outgoing & open-minded personality, who loves to communicate with colleagues & clients (inter)nationally
• Fluent in Business English
• Basic Knowledge in German and/or willingness to actively learn and extend the German language skills (possibility of a language course)
