We are looking for a Software Engineer who is open to the challenge of building a new software platform ground up.
This job requires a broad knowledge of software engineering practices, design patterns and ability to work autonomously, executing all the software engineering tasks required to convert requirements into ready-to-deploy functions.

The ideal candidate, besides actively participating in the complete development cycle, including analysis, design, implementation and test of features, shall want to take an active word in team decisions and contribute to the continuous improvement of our methods and software.
Following a horizontally scalable Micro-Service architecture, this event Driven solution will work serverless, both in cloud centric or edge computing platforms, and will be deployed in computing nodes ranging from large datacenter servers to systems with very limited computing power.
The ideal candidate is passioned for Cloud Architectures, Internet of Things concepts, WEB development and is ready to incorporate those into a brand-new product.
The ideal candidate should be able to develop both the Micro Service and the Micro Frontend WEB applications but candidates that fit either frontend or backend are also quite welcomed.

requisitos/requirements
Requirements:
MSc / BS degrees in Computer Science or related fields;
Experience and knowledge of Object Oriented concepts, data structures and multi-threading;
Database concepts;
General UNIX, specifically Linux;
Openness to new environment, people and culture;
Fluent English, spoken and written.

Bonus Points:
Experience in REST, NATS and Event Driven Architecture;
Experience in Cloud oriented server Languages (e.g., Go-Lang, Java, Python);
Experience with WEB development (e.g., Angular);
Experience with NO-SQL (e.g., MongoDB);
Experience with Container based architectures (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Openshift);
Experience with Cloud Deployments (e.g., AWS, Google, Azure);
Experience with Network Technologies (e.g., Ethernet, IP, DWDM).
