Description

Our client is a leading bank in Europe, and one of the 10th largest banks in the World. It has a presence in 80 countries, with more than 200,000 employees. We’re looking for a talented IT professional to work as Web Developer (m/w) that will join our team located in Lisbon.

Tasks:

- Delivering a complete front end application

- Validating user actions on the client side and providing responsive feedback

- Writing asynchronous code, and an understanding of parallel server architectures

- Creating custom, general use modules and components which extend the elements and modules of core AngularJS

- Rapidly prototyping solutions to quickly prove/disprove new concepts

- Ensuring high performance in a multi-browser environment

- Writing testable, idiomatic, and documented JavaScript, HTML and CSS

- Working across the full client stack, including UI design, HTML layout, and JavaScript coding

- Cooperating with the back-end developers in the process of building the RESTful API

- Communicating with web services

Technical Skills:

- Deep knowledge of modern JavaScript frameworks (such as AngularJS) and commonly used JavaScript tooling and modules based on extensive work experience

- Able to incrementally deliver web applications to meet dynamic customer requirements

- Proficiency with JavaScript, CSS and HTML5

- Extensive knowledge of CSS and JS methods for providing performant visual effects 

- Thorough understanding of multi-tier platforms, including database, API, caching layer, proxies, and other web services 

- Basic understanding of back-end technologies, such as Java (preferred) or C# 

Soft Skills:

- Delivery-focused with keen attention to detail 

- Professional and precise communication skills

- English mandatory
