Perfil ideal

• Working knowledge of VMWare virtualization technologies
• Advanced capabilities on VMware ESX, vCenter and NSX
• Experience with vRealize stack is required
• Working experience of vRealize Automation in a production environment valued
• Generic OS configuration and management on virtualized environments
• Ability to configure and troubleshoot network issues (VLANs, IP Subnetting, 802.1Q trunks)
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science (or related area) preferred
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Flexible and able to adapt to a rapidly changing environment
• Must be organized and have the ability to manage projects of varying length
• Positive, self-motivated individual who can complete tasks independently
• Must be a team player 

Responsabilidades

• Design, install and configure VMware platforms and vRealize stack
• Proactively manage and maintain hosts, virtual network and virtual storage
• Administer and support VMware technologies and stack
• Develop and implement project plans, risk assessments and contingency plans
• Design and implement monitoring, configuration management and reporting functions that will make a hands-off environment
• Define and document best practices and support procedures
• Assist with related hardware, firewall, network and software evaluation and recommendation
• Interact with other technical teams, as required
