KIT-AR is an innovative startup developing advanced Augmented Reality and Artificial Intelligence solutions to support shopfloor workers on manufacturing industrial organizations.
Having recently opened a subsidiary in Portugal with offices in Aveiro and Lisbon, and we are looking to grow our core technical team to build our world-class AR/AI commercial platform and solutions.

We are looking for a talented and ambitious UX/UI designer to join our team, to shape the future of UX in augmented reality and increase the productivity and quality of life of manufacturing workers on the shopfloor. You will have the chance to work with renown manufacturing companies, and help transform how manufacturing workplaces will be by digitally enhanced workers.

We are looking for:

• 5-year professional experience in UX/UI, with at least 1 year in mixed/virtual/augmented reality (XR);

• BS or higher in Computer Science;

• Experience in AR or VR environments (eg: Hololens, HIVES);

• Strong portfolio of design projects in XR/AR/VR

• Proficient in use of UI/UX collaboration tools;

• Familiarity with and practical experience in using State Charts and similar specification or similar diagrams;

• Goal driven, enthusiastic, creative thinker and problem solver;

• Analytical mind with a business acumen, and strong ability to understand and adapt to new contexts;

• Good communication skills and ability to thrive in diverse remote-first teams;

• Fluent spoken and written level of English (B2 or higher);
