About Lapa Studio

Lapa Studio is a technological startup from the Polygon Group with a fun, creative and innovative mindset, which is focused on the development of IoT (Internet of Things) devices and systems.

Created in 2013, it was behind the biggest product crowdfunding campaign in Portugal with the release of Lapa – a Bluetooth tracker for personal belongings, pets, and children –, and is already present in more than 80 countries.

Using Lapa technology, we are currently developing a new product that promises to revolutionize the traditional authentication, payments, and marketing methods in the soccer world, and that’s why we need you.

About the Role

We are hiring an UI/UX Designer that loves to create elegant and intuitive Web and Mobile UI/UX experiences, and work with our marketing team for designing and promoting the Lapa brand and associated products.

The candidate should be self-driven, flexible and willing to learn and adapt to new clients and products.

Skills

The UI/UX candidate should be skillful and have experience in designing Web and Mobile UI/UX mockups and experiences, branding design, and designing multimedia contents.

The candidate should meet the following criteria:

• Bachelor or Masters in Graphic Design, Illustration, Communication Design, Digital Arts, Multimedia, or similar
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in developing Web and Mobile UI/UX experiences
• Experience with Graphic Design and Illustration tools: Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop
• Experience with Branding Design: logos, icons, and style guides
• Experience in multimedia content design: illustrations, photo montages
• We value experience in product photography
• We value experience in product design
• We value experience with Web frontend tools: HTML, CSS
• Experience in Agile and versioning methodologies: JIRA, Scrum, GIT
• Fluent in English (spoken and written)
• Leadership and team-work spirit
• Self-driven and willing to learn new technologies
