Capitalise.com is building out our technology and product teams working with superstar engineers and product managers. Are you passionate to craft mobile and web experiences for our users that reduce friction and make their everyday work easier? Joining as our UI Engineer, you will work closely with our product design team, enjoy design thinking and be in a high performance product company. You will be joining a team of engineers and technologists who are working to build a high quality modern SaaS product. We’re looking to grow our engineering team in Portugal to continue our scale with 3,000 advisers using our platform. 

Your approach is

Your role will be to

• Crafting reusable components and pages to support our user experience
• Hooking together services and UI to create interactive experiences
• Actively contributing to API design and integration between services
• Maintain a high level of quality control and development flows

You should apply if you have

• Successful examples of managing requirements and working with BDD
• A strong technical background working with open source technologies
• Proven experience working in a scaled SaaS engineering team

Ideal stack experience

• Familiarity in a React approach with Events, SSE and web sockets
• Led on the architecture and design of complex features
• Proven mid-level experience working with web and mobile in Scrum/Kanban/XP environments
• Proven deep knowledge of JavaScript and/or TypeScript in React or Angular
• Experience with unit testing frameworks like Jest or Mocha
• *nix, command line and experience with containers (we use Kubernetes)
