A thriving startup and one of the largest property managers in Portugal, operating in the short-term property management sector.

We created our own unique platform and algorithm, enabling us to deliver the most cost & time-effective experience to both our partners and guests.

We are currently looking for a NodeJs / TypeScript developer with some experience for a 6-month position of application support.

Role responsibilities

• Maintain and improve our NodeJS / TypeScript booking management platform;

• Optimize our PostgreSQL database (data structures, indexes, overall architecture);

• Improve existing tests, both in terms of coverage and speed of execution;

• Review Pull Requests from others in a constructive and efficient way;

• Maintain our server infrastructure.

Candidate Requirements

To join us at LovelyStay you need to cover most of the following requirements:

• Excellent knowledge of TypeScript, NodeJS and SQL (preferably PostgreSQL);

• Have significant experience developing automated tests;

• Fully understand the lifecycle of an application and the best application support practices;

• You’re not afraid of going to the bottom of the issue;

• You’re able to prioritize tasks and multi-tasking;

• Command-line expertise (Bash Script);

• Problem-solving and research skills. Ability to analyze situations, anticipating, identifying, and defining problems, seeking root causes
