The primary focus of the Technical Writer role is to compose clear and coherent technical information and documentation for end users and partners, using Critical Manufacturing’s products and applications for high-tech facilities manufacturing semiconductors, electronics, medical devices, automotive or other advanced complex products.

What you’ll do:

• Plan, write, review and edit documents, procedures, presentations and manuals for Critical Manufacturing’s software products
• Maintain a comprehensive library of technical terminology and documentation
• Prepare graphics and illustrations to elaborate on or complement technical writing
• Analyze documents to maintain continuity of style of content
• Manage updates and revisions of the company’s technical literature
• Work with product management, engineering and marketing colleagues to ensure that the finished documentation meets the product requirements

What you must have:

• Proven experience working in a technical writing position for at least 3 years
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Portuguese and English
• Proficiency in MS Office and Graphics software for image editing
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to translate complex engineering procedures into simple and clear instructions
• Ability to write in explanatory and procedural styles for multiple audiences
• Strong team player and creative thinking skills
