We are seeking a Technical Support Specialist to provide excellent online technical assistance on the setup and functionality of LS Retail Solutions to LS Retail customers and partners. 

This assistance includes recommending solutions, and providing guidance and training in accordance with service level agreements (SLA). Additionally, the Support Specialist also will also conduct system maintenance by testing computer components and registering new functionality suggestions.

Main assignments:

• Analyze and recommend solutions to software issues submitted through the Service Desk or Partner portal

• Provide guidance and recommendations for solution functionality and setup

• Confirm program objectives and specifications by testing new programs and comparing them with established standards

• Detect, test, register, and prioritize error reporting

• Maintains system capability by testing computer components

• Register new functionality suggestions in the ticketing system

• Verify and distribute localizations

• Achieve computer system objectives by gathering pertinent data, identifying and evaluating options, recommending a course of action

• Prepare reference for users by writing operating instructions

• Evaluate system potential by testing the compatibility of new programs with existing programs

• Occasionally create training materials or other documentation for solution use

Qualifications:

• BS/diploma in business, retail, or IT preferable

• Relevant work experience

• Experience in ERP systems such as MS Dynamics NAV  /BC

• Experience in retail processes preferable

• Experience in software testing preferable

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure

• Ability to provide good services is essential

• Ability to quickly acquire and share new skills and knowledge is essential

• Fluency in written and spoken English
