Project:
We are looking for an enthusiastic Technical Support Specialist to work with our teams in Porto and in the United States.
He/She will be providing excellent online technical support, advice, and assistance to a network of LS Retail Partners and Customers on the setup and functionality of LS Retail Solutions.
General Responsabilities:
To provide online Web-based support for LS Retails customers and partners by recommending solutions, provide guidance and training according to service level agreements (SLA). The Support specialist maintains system capability by testing computer components and registering new functionality suggestions.
Main assignments (include but are not limited to the following):
• Analyzing issues submitted through the Service Desk or through the Partner portal, that Partners have with LS Retail software and recommend solutions.
• Provide guidance on recommended functionality and setup.
• Confirm program objectives and specifications by testing new programs, comparing programs with established standards.
• Detect, test, register, and prioritize error reporting.
• Maintains system capability by testing computer components.
• Register new functionality suggestions in the ticketing system.
• Verify and distribute localizations.
• Achieves computer system objectives by gathering pertinent data; identifying and evaluating options; recommending a course of action.
• Provide direct training and guidance to customers and partners according to service level agreements.
• Prepares reference for users by writing operating instructions.
• Evaluates system potential by testing the compatibility of new programs with existing programs.
• Other responsibilities from time to time such as testing LS solutions, creating training materials or documentation.
Requirements:
• BS/diploma in business, retail, or IT preferable.
• Relevant work experience.
• Experience in ERP systems such as MS Dynamics NAV preferable.
• Experience in retail processes preferable.
• Experience in software testing preferable.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure.
• Ability to provide good services essential.
• Ability to quickly acquire and share new skills and knowledge essential.
• Fluency in written and spoken English preferable.
