Technical Product Owner - Retail @ Mindera

Description

Here at Mindera, we are building a world class team and would love it for you to join us. Working within one of UK's most premier and unique department stores; you will be involved in defining the product life cycle, describe playable requirements, define scheduling and work closely with the development and business teams; enhancing communication to make sure the outcome is the expected.

The five-floor store sells high-end luxury goods including fashion, jewellery, electronics and food (with no fewer than seventeen restaurants). In 2021, the retailer delivered a revenue of hundreds of million worldwide through its online services. Mindera is now a critical part of continuing success and are looking to build a world-class team.

We are looking for Product Owners who have experience working with development teams and can be the first point of contact for clients and business stakeholders.

Your team will be a key part of the core platform and architecture that will implement the new omnichannel strategy.

Expected traveling time (UK and USA): 0%-15%, varies according to project/client.

Requirements

  • Practicing the agile manifesto ideas
  • Speaking the same language as developers and understanding the technical aspect of the project
  • Define Product visions and break it into smaller and incremental deliverables
  • Engaging and interacting with clients during feedback sessions, focus groups, user groups, and requirements gathering sessions. Practices open and honest communications with clients
  • Working with development teams, software architects and business stakeholders to gather requirements, estimates and build a delivery plan
  • Identifying market opportunities, planning and executing the end-to-end product development lifecycle
  • Being self-driven and working with little supervision towards a common team or company purpose.

You are familiar with some of these

  • Cloud providers (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, etc)

What you will be doing

  • Prepare and run agile cerimonies
  • Engage with different stakeholders to make sure that the team is developing a world class retail product
  • Ensure teams delivery against the agreed plan
  • Help building a development team that will reshape the future of retail
