Our client is a specialized Company in development and publisher of games for PC and consoles that wants to recruit a Technical Artist (m/f) for Lisbon.
Main Tasks:
- Working closely with the Technical Director and the Art Director;
- Acting as a bridge between to develop solutions/tools and the technical/art teams;
- Involved in developing the art pipeline as well as researching, documenting and implementing solutions to maintain performance and increase the efficiency of the project.
Required Profile:
- 2+ years working in a similar role;
- Ability to proactively troubleshoot problems and develop appropriate solutions;
- Knowledge of real time rendering techniques and PBR material workflows;
- Experience with various industry standard DCC software packages, including 3Ds Max, Maya, Photoshop, Substance Suite, Houdini, etc.;
- Experience with a scripting language (Python, C++, MAXScript, MEL, etc.);
- Experience identifying and driving performance goals and optimisations for open world development on consoles and PCs;
- A drive for documenting various tools and workflows;
- High levels of aesthetic attention to detail;
- Fluent in English (Mandatory).
