Technical Advisor (m/f) - Brussels

Human Profiler is a Human Resources Consulting company, specialized in IT Outsourcing and recruitment and selection of qualified profiles, acting with total flexibility and adaptation to the needs of our customers.
Our client is looking for a Technical Advisor (m/f), for Brussels. It can be remote during the COVID period.

Main Tasks:

•Elaboration of functional / non-functional requirements related to:
oKnowledge for Policy platform, Science Hub, Sustainable Development Goals, Trends4EU newsletter;
•Provide expert advice on and design system architecture of the new solutions being developed;
•Advise webmasters and developers on EC Rules compliance on new or revamped JRC web sites:
o Visual identity checks, Europa Components Library use, IPG, accessibility issues, content quality assessments;
•Assist in the implementation of Drupal modules for the Knowledge4Policy and Science Hub platforms;
•Assess tools and existing modules with an eye to efficiency and of the development effort and overall 'quality' of the end product;
•Whenever required, development or configuration activities.
Required Profile:

•Bachelor’s Degree in Informatics or similar;
•Minimum 5 years of professional experience;
•Experience with Requirement analysis techniques and tools;
•Experience with: Drupal, PHP, CSS3, HTML5, JavaScript, VBScript and JQuery;
•Experience with MySQL;
•Experience with XML, XSLT and XSL;
•Experience with Agile Software Development;
•Experience with PM Methodologies (e.g. PM2);
•Ability to work in English (Fluent).
