We are hiring a Tech Leader (Data Engineer) for a big project in Porto area.

As a Tech Leader (Data Engineer) your main role will be to design and build the data platform, participate as a technical referent in developing code for processing and analyzing large amounts of data, deploy solutions on cloud technologies, mainly GCP as well as guide and support team members.

Requirements:

- MSc in Engineering or Science (Computer Engineering/Science is preferred);
- 3 to 9 years of experience in designing and implementing scalable software and data-driven services using Big Data technologies, data storages (e.g. relational databases, key-value stores), data warehouses, and related data processing technologies;
- Proven experience with programming languages such as Scala / Java / Python;
- Experience with distributed data processing platforms such as Spark or Hadoop;
- Experience with workflow management platforms (like Airflow) and collaborative platforms (like Jupyter or Zeppelin);
- Experience with building data processing solutions using cloud based platforms like GCP;
- Be creative, ambitious and curious;
- Fluent in english.
