Our main office is at Kungsholmstorg in central Stockholm and we have additional offices in Portugal and Serbia. 

We work on two of the world's strongest e-commerce platforms; Magento and Salesforce Commerce Cloud.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Tech Lead to strengthen our Magento team in our Évora’s office.

The ideal candidate should be able to provide technical leadership on Magento projects, solving complex technical issues and leading release and deployment processes. Must still be willing to learn and innovate.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Delivering the technical solution for our client’s projects; 
• Leading a team of both frontend and backend developers involved in the delivery of e-commerce services that are mainly produced on the Magento platform;
• Having the responsibility and ownership for leading the team regarding the definition and the delivery of technical solutions to Improove’s clients, as well as maintenance and development of the platforms;
• Participating in scoping and estimating new projects;
• Providing leadership and mentorship to our developers;
• Perform detailed code reviews and providing input when needed to make sure best practices are being followed and technical debt is minimized;

REQUIREMENTS

• Computer Science or related technical degree;
• 6+ years of experience working with web development and e-commerce;
• Experience in team leading and mentorship;
• Good technical knowledge in web-based development with a focus on PHP and MySQL;
• Relevant experience on the Salesforce Commerce Cloud platform would be a great addition;
• Ability to focus on deadlines and deliverables;
• Experience working with agile development/SCRUM;
• Knowledge of Continuous Delivery and Continuous Integration;
• Experience with Git or another similar system;
• Fluent in English is mandatory (written and spoken);
