Aubay Portugal is a multinational French company, in Portugal since 2007. We have offices in Lisbon and Oporto and we are a specialized consultant in Management, Implementation, Development and Maintenance of Information Systems. We have more than 150 active partners and we operate in sectors such as banking, insurance, telecommunications, services, energy and transports.

What will you be doing?

• Lead a team of full-stack engineers;
• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications and services, with Angular or React front-end frameworks;
• Lead code reviews and ensure best practices;
• Optimize code for performance and scalability;
• Implement and maintain unit and integration tests;
• Mentor team members;
• Design and implement microservices patterns and event-driven architecture.

What are we looking for?

• At least 6 years of experience with Java, with at least 2 years in a technical leadership role;
• At least 2 years of experience in front-end frameworks like Angular or React;
• Strong experience with Spring Boot, Gradle, Maven, Spring Cloud Zookeeper, Spring Security OAuth2 and JWT, Flyway or Liquibase;
• Familiarity with Apache ZooKeeper and Project Reactor, PostgreSQL or MySQL, Cassandra
• / DynamoDB / MongoDB;
• Proficiency in unit and integration testing using JUnit 5, Mockito, Reactor Test, Awaitility, and WireMock;
• Strong understanding of design patterns and best practices;
• Strong interpersonal and communicational skills, as well as leadership skills;
• Written and verbal communication skills in English.
