What you will be doing:

• The team will build a key building block of our future mobile Core network software being developed in a Cloud native environment and setup
• You will be part of a E2E product team that is responsible for developing a ‘Unified subscriber data repository’ holding all network service data, managing authentication and network access (3GPP equivalents – HLR/HSS/UDM)
• The team will run the product throughout its lifecycle (from requirements gathering and sprint 0 to sunset)
• You as a T-shaped engineer even though you have a prominent skill that overshadows the others, don´t limit your tasks just to your area of expertise.

What we are looking for:

• Convinced of the “you build it - you own it” approach of E2E responsibility for your product and agile in mind
• Several years of solid Golang or C/C++ experience
• Some experience or willingness to master the 2nd programming language (either Golang, C/C++)
• Solid understanding in Networking (L2/L3/L4 and IP routing protocols)
• Experience with Git
• Advanced Linux user
• Fluent in written and spoken English
• Degree in Computer Engineering or similar.

What will be a plus:

• Experience or willingness to master IP networking and telco specific realms (mobile core network architecture, 3GPP standards and protocols, low-level packet processing at Linux kernel level or with DPDK)
• Hands-on experience in Clouds (preferably AWS)
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
