About the position

This position is part of our Active Safety & User Experience segments. To support our Tech Center in Braga, Portugal, Aptiv is currently looking for Systems Engineer to work in a design team for driver assistance, user experience systems and autonomous driving vehicles.

Responsibilities and Duties

- Analysis of customer requirements and technical specifications;

- Analyze technical innovations and evaluate application on APTIV products;

- Support vehicle and bench test execution;

- Active support and cooperate with software and test engineers;

- Active participate in systems reviews and project meetings;

- Keep contact with customer regarding project;

- Provide requirement management expertise and method know-how to product development team;

- Active participate in technical innovation programs;

- Care for good company image in front of customers and co-operator companies;

 
Must Have (Basic Qualifications)

- Degree in Electronics or Computer Science or related (Msc preferred);

- Good English skills (both spoken and written);

- Knowledge of programming languages.

Nice to Have (Preferred Qualifications)

- German or French knowledge;

- Knowledge of electronics and electronic measurement basis;

- Good knowledge about embedded system design;

- Knowledge of Requirements Management platforms (e.g. DOORS, Polarion).
