We are searching for a SQL Support Engineer to work in Lisbon or Porto!
Responsibilities:
- Serve as frontline technical resources for the company’s customers and partners via phone, email or web;
- Deliver unique value by collaboratively and reactively solving customer problems, providing proactive support advice, contributing to product quality and enhancements and creating self-help assets to broadly reach more customers;
- Be part of a team responsible for providing an outstanding technical support experience to our business customers, supporting Azure or other cloud-based solutions, Open Source Databases like MySQL, Postgre SQL, Microsoft SQL Server and other technologies.
Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering or any field related to IT or equivalent experience;
- Good Windows Operating System background on Threads, Processes and Memory Management (Heap, Stack, Virtual Memory);
- Understanding of Database concepts and deployments;
- Experience supporting or maintaining complex mission-critical database solutions, RDMS technologies, and/or SQL language;
- Good communication skills in English and, preferably, knowledge of another language, like Spanish, German, French or Italian.
