Role description:

 We are looking to fill the following position at our client Porto offices - SQL Data Engineer! 

We are looking for a talented Analyst & Business Intelligence Developer to help the company to improve the internal Data Management and actively contribute to innovating all Data Structure of the client company.

Responsibilities: 

• Be part of a project team whose goal is to design, implement and maintain interactive dashboards and reports primarily using Qlik Sense and OLAP tools;

• Perform day-to-day functional support of issues and hands-on configuration;

• Provide a pro-active and responsive attitude interacting with internal customers or business partners ensuring the successful delivery of IT related Services;

• Develop system requirements, designing and prototyping, testing, training and implementing business solutions, while achieving deadlines and quality goals;

• Able to tell a compelling story with data to provide actionable insights;

• Support the company defining the vision for data, analytics and tools;

Requirements:

• Bachelors or masters in Computer Engineering or similar;

• Advanced knowledge in SQL language and T-SQL programming;

• Proven experience in data integration processes/ ETL with large datasets;

• Familiarity with ETL tools such as SSIS and Azure Data Flow;

• Familiarity with SQL Server skills such as security, replication, backup. performance testing is a plus;

• Familiarity with data warehousing architecture and data modeling;

• Experience with AWS infrastructure is a plus;

• Experience with big data tools: Hadoop, Hive, Spark is a plus;

• Experience in data cleansing and preparation with R or Python packages is a plus;

• Good communication skills;

• Dynamic and proactive professional, with high sense of responsibility;

• Languages: Portuguese (native), English (proficiency mandatory). Any other is a plus;

• Availability to travel;
