Location: Évora or Lisbon (Portugal)

We are looking for a Solution Architect to join our team in Évora or Lisbon (remote is possible) and work in projects in the Pharmaceutical space. We are a dynamic AI startup with clients in Switzerland, Germany, and the USA. We work with top-notch tech, use containers, cloud, and other cool stuff.

You bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
• 10+ years architecting enterprise services-based distributed systems and data intensive solutions
• Experience designing for large scale, highly available, fault tolerant transactional and analytical systems in a dynamic environment
• Excellent communication skills – verbal, written and presentation are a must.
• Background or familiarity with concepts of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) is a plus
• Firm knowledge of and experience with .NET Core 3.
• Firm knowledge of and experience with React and Redux.
• Implement automation, effective monitoring, and multi-tentant infrastructure.
• Experience building solutions combining multiple AWS services, particularly Lambda, Kinesis, EMR, S3, ElasticSearch, Kibana, CloudFormation, AWS CloudTrail, AWS CloudWatch, AWS EventBridge, AWS DynamoDb, AWS RDS, ElasticBeanstalk, AWS EKS and AWS ECS and Serverless Application Model.
• Preference given to candidates possessing knowledge and experience with Docker (or compatible container technology) and Kubernetes.
• Deep familiarity with REST API semantics, including common authentication models like OAUTH2.
• Strong relational database skills, both in designing schemas and coding and analyzing complex SQL queries.
• Strong experience with continuous integration, deployment and monitoring.
• Knowledge of security best practices.

• Work with and mentor development teams
