Description

We are looking for a software validation engineer who is committed to product quality. This person must be capable of thinking creatively out-of-the box to devise and implement testing strategies and to execute testing plans for our leading Manufacturing Execution System (MES) application.

This position is part of the product management organization that is responsible for performing the application acceptance from the point of view of the customer end user.

What you’ll do:

• Analyze and validate users stories and/use cases/requirements and system specifications
• Execute different levels of testing from the point of view of the user / customer
• Develop and optimize testing and validation strategies
• Collaborate closely with other team members in the product development process
• Design and develop automation scripts when needed
• Detect and track software defects and help in the troubleshooting process
• Apply quality engineering principles throughout the agile product lifecycle

What you must have:

• More than 3 years of experience in Software Development
• Experience with C# / .NET development
• Experience with source control tools (preferably Git)
• Good knowledge of software architecture and software development processes
• Good knowledge of relational database concepts and T-SQL
• Excellent English skills – spoken and written
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Great interpersonal and communication skills

What we consider a plus (not mandatory):

• Experience in Testing
• Experience with Testing frameworks
• Experience with Javascript and HTML5
• Knowledge of agile software development methodologies
