Description

The company is looking for a motivated professional with the following profile: 

● MS degree in Engineering (Physics / Computer Science / Electronics or similar);

● Preferably 1+ years of work experience in R&D;

● Good computer and programming skills (Python, C/C++) for data processing, simulation, image reconstruction, development of graphic user interfaces;

● Experience in prototyping and development of commercial products is a plus;

● Knowledge/experience in front-end readout electronics design, programming of data acquisition systems (microcontrollers, ASICs, FPGAs) or mechanical design is a plus;

● Good written and verbal communication skills, fluent in English and Portuguese;

● Experience in technical sales is valued;

● Team player, able to collaborate efficiently;

● Autonomous, able to take responsibility for own work and apply own initiative to find solutions;

● Proactive, dynamic and responsible attitude;

● Willingness to travel. International experience is valued;

● Immediate availability. 

 
Successful candidate ​will be required to​: 

 ● Contribute to the development of innovative radiation imaging systems, mostly in the software component and its integration with hardware (readout electronics, sensors, etc);

● Develop and implement data processing and image reconstruction methods, integrating them in the development of graphic user interfaces;

● Troubleshoot software issues;

● Present R&D results at meetings and conferences;

● Promote commercial activity and communication with customers/users.
