Requirements: 

• Experience as a Java Developer for more than 3 years;
• Experience with REST and SOAP web services;
• Experience working with message queues in asynchronous systems (e.g. ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ, etc);
• Knowledge in Java Server Faces (JSF), Java 8, Java EE and Hibernate;
• Capable to analyse and reverse engineer existing Java code;
• Experience with COBOL is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Development of a new J2EE backend for a core critical business application;
• Integration of several applications via web services;
• Migration of legacy code into a new maintainable code base;
• Tuning and ongoing support.
