Because we aspire to do more and better, we are looking for a Software Engineer to integrate our internal team, based in Lisbon. As a Software Engineer you'll work in a constantly evolving environment, due to technological advances and the strategic direction of their organisation. You'll create, maintain, audit and improve systems to meet particular needs, often as advised by a systems analyst or architect, testing both hard and software systems to diagnose and resolve system faults.

Your responsibilities include:

• Participate in the design, prototyping and implementation of new applications;
• Maintain existing applications, identifying and fixing issues;
• Participate in code reviews and sharing knowledge with the rest of the team;
• Contribute to improve and develop standards and best practice.

You must have:

• Have at least 3 years of experience in software development;
• Have experience implementing distributed systems;
• Have experience working in a Linux/Unix environment;
• Have experience working with software revision control systems (preferably Git);
• Write clean, readable, well-tested, well-documented and thoughtful code;
• Be able to share your knowledge and ideas as well as listening to other’s opinions;
• Be responsible, autonomous, focused and able to work as a team or independently;
• Be fluent in English with good written and verbal communication skills;
• Bonus: Experience writing software with Python;
• Bonus: Experience with microservices and event-driven architectures;
• Bonus: Experience with container technologies and CI/CD.
