About the position

This position is part of Active Safety & User Experience segments.

To support the Tech Center in Braga, Aptiv is currently looking for a SW Engineer to work in a design team for driver assistance, user experience systems and autonomous driving vehicles.

Responsibilities and Duties

- Collecting and analyzing SW requirements;

- Preparing SW design documentation;

- Responsibility for certain software modules and interfaces;

- SW Verification, error analysis and debugging;

- Responsibility for achieving software quality and traceability;

- Embedded Software (SW) development.

Must Have (Basic Qualifications)

- Degree in Electronics or Computer Science or related (Msc preferred);

- Good English skills (both spoken and written);

- Knowledge of programming languages (C, C++ or Python);

- English proficiency (spoken and written).

Nice to Have (Preferred Qualifications)

- Knowledge in designing and programming microcontrollers and processors;

- Familiarity with tools for programming microcontrollers and processors;

- Very good knowledge of C, Windows batch and Linux shell script languages;

- Knowledge of AUTOSAR or QNX is beneficial;

- Good knowledge of the Vector CAN tools (CANoe, etc).
