Arηs is looking for Software Developer to join our (nearshore) team in Lisbon (Portugal), to work for one of our main clients, based in Luxembourg.

Basic Qualifications   

• A Bachelor degree or above in computer science, engineering or related field is required.
• 3+ years of programming experience in Java/C# or other object-oriented languages. 
• Strong discipline on practicing TDD. 
• Experience with modern pipeline and tools for CI/CD and automation. 
• Experience in cloud technologies, ideally AWS. 
• Experience working with NoSQL and RDBS databases. 
• Experience working with agile methodologies. 
• A personality with a desire to learn, grow and use new tech. 
• Comfort with collaboration, reaching across teams, and focusing on business outcomes. 
• Participation in code reviews and actively providing feedback on others’ designs/code. 
• Fluent in English. 

Preferred Qualifications  

• Experience in using Git and good understanding of Gitflow. 
• Familiar with Gitlab CI. 
• Experience with IaC (Terraform, Ansible or similar). 
• Understanding of DevSecOps practices. 
• Understanding of Microservices architecture – containers experience. 
• Understanding of distributed computing systems. 
• Experience with Spring Boot and Java 8+. 
• Experience with Angular or similar front end framework. 
• Understanding of REST APIs. 
• Understanding of functional programming. 
• Experience with Spark/Hadoop. 
• Experience with ElasticSearch and PostegreSQL
