Description

We are looking for a Software Developer to build a fintech product that will help users increase and optimize their financial investments. The professional will be hired by a partner company and will work closely with Angry Ventures. 

As a Software Developer, you will play a key role in designing and coding software for SGF - Sociedade Gestora Fundos De Pensões, a savings management company with over 30 years of experience. In this role, you will work closely with other Software Developers and Product Managers, nurturing and actively participating in the software development cycle. Your goal will be to improve the product with new relevant features to meet established roadmaps and customers’ needs.

Roles and responsibilities

- Develop and test new features. 

- Work closely with the development and product team to design algorithms and flowcharts.

- Deliver clean and efficient code-based specifications.

- Integrate existing or new software components with third-party programs.

- Produce technical documentation.

- Participate in agile software development routines.

- Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing software.

Requirements

- BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- 2+ years of hands-on experience as a Software Developer.

- Advanced knowledge and experience in backend programming (.NET, C#).

- Previous knowledge of NoSQL, MongoDB.

- Proficiency in using Javascript libraries and frameworks, such as AngularJS, ReactJS, or Vue.

- Previous knowledge of Azure.

- Previous experience with TypeScript.

- Previous knowledge and implementation of the security and data protection layers.

- Problem-solving skills and communication skills.

Location

The Software Developer will work in SGF - Sociedade Gestora Fundos De Pensões office in Porto.

The selection process

If you successfully pass through our screening process, we’ll invite you to take part in some interviews. If you successfully pass the interview process, you will be sent a challenge, which you have one week to respond to. The feedback will be sent to you, and if you are successful in this stage, a technical interview will be scheduled. We welcome applications in English.
