Software Architect for Airbag (m/f)

Location: Braga

Bosch is becoming one of the world’s leading companies in the field of the Internet of Things (IoT). At the Bosch in Braga, more than 350 engineers develop car multimedia solutions and the most innovative localization, perception and safety sensors that are helping to shape connected and autonomous mobility. Due to their continued growth they are now looking for a Software Architect for Airbag. You will be part of the Airbag architecture team, a highly configurable base used by more than 50 customers.

Main responsibilities:

- Responsible for designing, maintaining, analyzing, and documenting the Airbag software architecture using model-based software engineering methods and tools.

- Improve software development processes, methods, and tools and support their rollout.

- Support customer projects in technical questions regarding architecture and development methods. You will be technical lead in a distributed software development environment with locations in Europe, India, China, Vietnam, Japan, and USA.

Profile requirements:

- Background in software engineering of preferably embedded systems, including requirement analysis, architecture design, model-based software engineering tools and programming skills in C/C++.

- Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or comparable.

- Fluency in English is important for this position.
