What you will be doing:

• Look to develop strategies and improvements around the Cloud Architecture
• Help to write DevOps tools like CLIs, logs-processor, RESTful services, and help with automatic onboarding for APIs
• Act as a bridge between Developers and the DevOps team
• Challenge the architecture proposals always thinking in cloud-patterns
• Collaborate with Development Teams where code changes are required to resolve defects and ensure if the services could be released into production in a controlled manner
• Work with CI/CD tools, using IaC, block storage all together with a backend microservice
• Help to understand application behaviors and design proper metrics to be sure about the health of these applications
• Support real-time data platform (such as ELK) with graphs, reports, alerts, dashboards, and visualizations
• Responsible for adhering to Change and Configuration management processes, ensuring all changes are reviewed for quality, rigorous testing, and contingency planning, and that any supporting documentation is fully updated and to the agreed quality standard before implementation
• Participate in 24/7 on-call emergency support rotation.

What we are looking for:

• Understanding of Agile development/Software life cycle
• Experience in backend and Microservices
• Representational State Transfer (REST) services and middle tier business layer design patterns
• Demonstrating experience with at least one of the following development languages: GO, Perl, PHP or Python
• Understand High-Availability, Autoscaling and Self Healing methods for enterprise web platforms
• Refining requirements, self-identifying solutions and communicating to the team
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

What will be a plus:

• Experience in a serverless approach
• Experience with ELK
• An interest in Container technology (e.g. Docker and Kubernetes)
• Architecture background.
