ITG have set up the EMEIA Enterprise Content Management Service on the EMEIA SharePoint 2013 hub. This Platform has been opened up to all EMEIA Users (the user base growing from 11,000 in the UK&I to nearer 26,000 across EMEIA) and the migration of legacy content from FTS has been approved (with its own Business case). We have a requirement to have a Developer to support the Senior Developer establishing and providing the ongoing support, development and maintenance for EMEIA Connect.

Job purpose: You will be responsible for the development of existing solutions that are generally out of the box with some modification as well as additional SharePoint 2013 design/development work as agreed with the SharePoint 2013 Senior Developer.

Key accountabilities:

  • Investigating, analyzing and defining technical requirements and developing solutions.
  • Ensuring that solutions will meet business requirements, and are capable of successful implementation within defined guidelines and timescales.
  • Self-motivated, communicates and works effectively with colleagues, technical teams, service management to give advice on the scope and option of solution
  • Create, facilitate, and monitor results of acceptance testing procedures in controlled, real situations before releasing to the production service
  • Maintain the systems/services once they are up and running.
  • Use of version and source control.

Key education and experience:

  • Must have experience with SharePoint 2013 development, C#, PowerShell, Microsoft SQL Server, CSOM, .NET Framework.
  • Good Knowledge of HTML5, XML, XSLT, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery and Visual Studio.
  • Knowledge of software development methodologies including Waterfall, Iterative and Agile.
  • Continually updating technical knowledge and skills by use of technical web sites, reading manuals, accessing new applications etc...
  • Experience in Nintex workflow would be an advantage
