We are looking for a talented Senior Test Engineer to join our international team and work on several of our international projects.

You’ll be working remote, but if you want our Lisbon Riverside Office is open for you to visit us!

Role Overview:

We are looking for a Senior Test Engineer to assess software quality through Functional testing. You will be responsible for finding and reporting non-conformities and defects.

In this role, you should have an eye for detail, excellent communication and a solid experience on executing functional testing in projects that have a complex set of business rules. If you are the right person for this challenge, then we would love to meet you.

Ultimately, you will ensure that our products, applications, and systems work correctly, according to our clients criteria and our internal quality standards.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Reviewing and analysing system specifications

• Preparing test cases and RTM

• Executing test cases and reviewing results

• Raising defects and retesting fixes

• Reporting and documenting technical issues

• Mentoring and ramping up junior team members

Essential Skills:

• Proven experience as a QA tester or similar role for more than 10 years;

• Experience in project management and QA methodology

• Familiarity with Agile frameworks

• Regression testing

• Ability to document and troubleshoot errors

• Working knowledge of test management tools (e.g. Test Manager on AzureDevOps)

• Excellent communication skills (English)

• Excellent capacity of understanding very complex business rules

• Analytical mind and problem-solving attitude, focus on solution rather than problems

• ISTQB Foundation level

• BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge on automation and coding tools.
