Senior Test Automation Engineer @ Mindera

Description

Working as a Quality Assurance Engineer at Mindera, you will ensure that high standards are kept throughout the development process and within the product deliverables. You will also have an important role in planning and developing automated test suites.

How does that sound?

National and international expected travelling time varies according to project/client and organisational needs. We estimate it to be between 0%-15%.

You're good at

  • Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban
  • Strong BE and FE test automation skills, ability to build test automation framework from scratch
  • Experience with Javascript, Typescript, or Node.js
  • Experience with AWS and/or GCP clouds

You rock at

  • Exploring and finding problems! Identifying and analyzing software defects and working closely with the development team to resolve them.
  • Designing test scenarios, scripts, or procedures that fit with the concepts of Test Automation and Continuous Delivery
  • Creating resilient automated test suites to exercise Web and Mobile applications using high-level automation tools and frameworks.
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest testing technologies and methodologies to ensure the highest level of test automation efficiency.
  • Being motivated to keep learning about test automation
  • Being self-driven and working with little supervision towards a common team or company purpose

What you will be doing

  • You will manage testing activities for each code release, speed up feedback loops for development, and defect fixing
  • Provide accurate and timely reports for release actions, manage test resources according to their increment or area of expertise
  • Monitor and assess the effects of issues arising from test execution
  • Manage increment defects including triage and root cause analysis
  • Work with tech leads to estimate and plan testing activities within an increment
  • Continuously find ways to improve the quality of the product
  • Evangelize quality standards in the team! Quality is the responsibility of absolutely everyone, but you're there to make sure they don't forget :)
  • Be the advocate the user (and the business) needs! Your input is invaluable to providing the most user-friendly experience possible.
