Summary:

We are a fast-growing startup based in the US looking for a Senior Ruby on Rails Developer to help us scale our infrastructure. We work fully remotely since day 1 and all our employees are distributed. You work when and where you want. We care a lot about our culture, having fun while working hard, and our annual retreats.

We're looking for an Engineer with at least 5 years of experience with Ruby on Rails development and ideally some exposure to modern JavaScript frameworks (Angular, Vue or React).

What you'll do:

This position will report to one of our server team leads and work closely with our other engineers. You’ll be able to work 100% remotely, and we are looking for someone that can grow with our products for years to come.

Required Skills:

• Strong experience with Ruby on Rails.

• Knowledge of unit testing (rspec or jest) and background workers (sidekiq).

• Database modelling skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Docker

• Front-end development experience with Vue or React

• JavaScript, jQuery and Bootstrap
