Senior Python developer

Javra Software B.V which is a Dutch-based software company in The Netherlands since 1999 and has its outsourcing company in Nepal since 2006 and a nearshore company in Lisbon, Portugal since May 2022. We are an innovative IT services providing company having its costomers mainly located in Europe, USA, China, and Hong Kong. We work on different innovative IT solutions platforms.

For our new branch office JAVRA, SOCIEDADE UNIPESSOAL LDA in Lisbon we are searching a Senior Python developer. You will be working in various internal and external projects with different levels of complexity and challenges.

In this function, you will be working on a hybrid working module basis which is 3 days work from the office and 2 days work from home. 

We are located in Restelo Business Center in Lisbon.

Requirements and Qualifications: 

Must have:

1. Proven experience with Python frameworks (Django, Flask, FastAPI)

2. Worked in Python projects for at least 4+ years in a team

3. Understanding of NoSQL database e.g. MongoDb

4. Knowledge of deployment using Docker

5. Familiar with Continuous Integration frameworks e.g. Jenkins, GitLab

6. Ability to coach and review the work done by other members in the team

7. Familiar with Agile development methodology e.g SCRUM

Experience with the following would be great:

1. Experience with Javascript framework would be

2. Linux system administration

3. Able to write technical documentation

4. Experience with ML frameworks e.g. TensorFlow, Spacy etc.
