Join the Wolfpack as a Senior Network Engineer (Full-remote - Portugal)!

What skills do you need to have:

• Higher Education in IT, Telecommunications, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in similar network engineering roles.
• CCNP certification is mandatory, CCIE certification is recommended.
• Deep knowledge of Data Center technologies, including Cisco ACI, BGP, OSPF, HSRP, etc.
• Expertise in MPLS, QoS, and DWDM concepts and technologies.
• Strong experience in network routing protocol design and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with L2, VLANs, VRRP, RSTP, BGP, OSPF, and IS-IS.
• Experience or familiarity with Network Automation is a plus.
• Know-how in Huawei routers and switches is advantageous.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Strong initiative, desire to learn, and adaptability.
• Good level of English - B2 recommended.

Some of your responsibilities will be:

• Design, configure, and maintain network infrastructure, including ASR 9000 Series, CRS, ASR 1000, and ME3400 routers.
• Implement and manage IP/MPLS, LDP, MP-BGP, and ISIS (IPv4 and IPv6) protocols.
• Handle Inter-AS scenarios, multicast, L2 (xconnect and bridge-domain), and L3 (IP VPN) services over MPLS.
• Oversee full-routing and Internet peering scenarios.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of hardware and software details, features, and limitations, including chassis, processors, line cards, and transceivers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement network solutions that meet client requirements.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers.
• Troubleshoot complex network issues and provide strategic solutions.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies.
