What are you going to do?

• Develop next-generation BMS technology;
• Be a technical leader in battery management systems;
• Create scalable Electrification systems;
• Provide electromechanical product design engineers with materials application engineering support and provide product design engineers and manufacturing process engineers with advanced problem-solving/failure analysis support;
• Lead the validation of material verification, coordinate internal and external Materials & Processes efforts with suppliers;
• Lead the development of new interconnection joints, failure analysis of failed modules and post-testing module inspection for material performance;
• Support product quality and reliability estimations/predictions;

What are we looking for?

• University degree in Materials Engineering or similar technical specialty;
• Experience with conformal coatings, underfill, electronics potting, over-molding electronics, plating, solder joints, and PCBA manufacturing processes used within the electronics or electrification industry;
• Utilize common root cause analysis methods, to determine root causes and corrective actions for nonconformities related to electronics packaging and assembly;
• Solder joints simulation, analysis, assessment, and qualification incl. cross-sectional analysis;
• Knowledge of environmental, and reliability requirements for automotive, industrial, and energy storage applications;
• Experience in systems engineering;
• Fluency in English.
