Reporting to:

- Director of Operations and Digital Services

Responsibilities:

- Evaluate systems in use and proposed for use, analyse work processes, suggest optimization methods, and advise on risk management

- Plan, procure and implement IT infrastructure and environments for existing and new sites

- Plan, configure and maintain user environments and networks

- Maintain back office applications and support

- Create and maintain patch and upgrade process including testing and rollout

- Plan, install and administer data center hardware environments

- Maintain system and network security

- Create and maintain backup and redundancy planning and testing procedures

- Implement, configure and administer virtual environments

- Administer terminal services and secure remote access

- Locate and liaise with vendors for projects

- Provide escalation support to staff

Requirements:

- Degree in Computer Science or related subject

- Fluent in Portuguese and English languages

- Extensive experience implementing and administering operating systems

- Working knowledge of networking and network infrastructure

- Experience with installing and maintaining Virtual Environments and terminal services

- Excellent communication skills

- Proven ability to manage international projects

Desired:

- Understanding and experience with cloud-based environments (Azure preferred)

- Understanding of medical imaging and medical devices
