WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

As a Senior Frontend Developer, you are part of a cross-functional team. You and your team will be responsible for software products from conception to operation. As an enthusiast in software engineering and software craftsmanship, with a strong DevOps mentality, and thanks to your excellent collaboration skills, you will support your team in delivering the best answers to our customer's needs and taking full responsibility for the applications, from design to operation.

• Strive for high levels of automation, clean architectures and high quality with a customer-centric mindset
• Select and lead teams, using the right tools for the right job, solving given business and technical problems in an efficient manner
• Work in a cloud environment (AWS), and develop resilient and high-performance cloud-native applications
• Deeply understand the AWS toolbox and leverage AWS services and cloud design patterns in a micro-service and micro-frontend landscape 
• Will address the full cycle of designing, building, testing, and deploying software and contribute to increasing automation
• Contribute to communities of practice, including collaborating on joint initiatives. To this end, you are well-connected in your field and in the broader community
• Coach, guide and develop younger colleagues
• Learn and acquire new skills and keep up to date with the latest developments in your focus areas.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Good knowledge of JavaScript (e.g. Vanilla JS) and TypeScript
• Experience with Webpack, or other tools needed to build/bundle JavaScript applications
• Experience with REST API
• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, and a general understanding of UI design
• Previous experience with Observability tools (Datadog, NewRelic, etc)
• Previous experience with cloud environment (e.g. AWS, Azure or GCP)
• Familiarity with CI/CD development process
• Deep focus on automated tests (unit, functional, integration)
• Product engineer mindset: good understanding of the entire product development process (design, development, and deployment)
• Passion for software development and the ability to communicate and collaborate at all levels of the organization
• Agile methodologies knowledge
• Compelling coaching and training skills for teaching professional software engineering skills
• Fluent in written and spoken English
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering or similar.

WHAT WILL BE A PLUS:

• Experience with Web Components
• Familiarity working with AWS cloud solutions (S3, Cloudfront, Lambda)
• Good knowledge of Microfrontend and Microservice Architecture
• Understanding of SPA Frameworks like React.
