We are hiring a Senior Data Engineer for a big project for a Software company for Lisbon area.

As a Senior Data Engineer your main role will be to design and build the data platform that supercharges our analytics endeavors, with a massive impact on product teams looking to understand their customers and how they use their products using through data and analytics. 

Requirements:

- 5+ years of experience in a data engineering, ETL developer, or related role;
- MSc in Engineering or Science (Computer Engineering/Science is preferred);
- Experience with distributed data processing platforms such as Spark or Hadoop;
- Experience building and integrating ETL pipelines, Data Warehouses and/or Analytics tools; 
- Experience with building data processing solutions using cloud based platforms like AWS;
- Experience working with significant amounts of structured and unstructured data;
- Knowledge and experience with Python, Scala and software engineering/architecture best practices are highly valued;
- Be creative, ambitious and curious;
- Fluent in english.
