We’re looking for a Senior/Data Engineer who will empower us to build industry disruptive tech products and enable us to provide our customers with smart actionable insights that will revolutionise their businesses.
 

You want to

• Design, construct, install, test, and maintain data management systems and pipelines. 
• Build high-performance ETL algorithms, predictive models, and prototypes. 
• Integrate up-and-coming data management and software engineering technologies into existing data structures.
• Develop set processes for data mining, data modeling, and data production. 
• Create custom software components and analytics applications. 
• Research new uses for existing data. 
• Employ an array of technological languages and tools to connect systems together. 
• Install/update disaster recovery procedures. 
• Recommend different ways to constantly improve data reliability and quality.
• Ensure meeting data governance and information security requirements.
• Write technical specifications and provide inputs to docs team.

You have

• At least 3 years’ proven experience as a Data Engineer, Software Developer, or similar. 
• Proficient in Python, Scala, Java or Go
• Proficient in Linux/Unix including  bash and shell scripting
• Experience in setting up, and development in technologies such as Kafka, Hadoop, and Spark.
• Prior data streaming experience with Apache Flink/Scala/Spark/Python
• Proficient and advanced SQL knowledge
• Containerised applications tools:
• Kubernetes, InfluxDB, Grafana, Prometheus, Distributed storage
• BS or higher in computer science, software/computer engineering, applied mathematics, physics or a relevant field.
• Creative thinking backed by strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
