Thus, we are now looking for a new Senior Cloud Developer willing to accept new challenges!

Summary: The transverse strategic platforms (TSP) are software solutions built by the client to provide a basis for the construction and urbanization of its subsidiaries information systems. The implemented functions are transverse to the company's businesses and considered sustainable in an information system. The developer will be part of the development team and will have to build the TSP platform, maintain it and support its integration process into various of the client’s subsidiaries.

As a Senior Cloud Developer your main activities will rely on contributing to functional and technical specifications according to the client’s internal architecture guidelines, developing, launching, and debugging cloud-based applications, while understanding application lifecycle management (ALM), and developing secure apps using current cyber security best practices. You’ll be working within an agile team that includes members with cross functional skills, and you’ll be exposed to continuous learning and curiosity of new and emerging technologies/patterns/methodologies and market offerings that may be of interest to the client.

It’ll be expected of you to challenge the team, share ideas and knowledge on cloud topics, so that you’ll be able to coach fellow team members on these. You’ll have to participate in Code Review/Pair Programing activities, understand and collaborate on the goals defined by the Top Management on the Cloud Strategy, and of course, discuss and align with management team the best strategy and practices on the cloud.

You will receive the objectives from the TSP Manager in Lisbon. He will integrate the development team in Lisbon and will collaborate on daily basis with the team members in Lisbon and the POs/SOs and Management team in Paris.

Are you the one?

You must have…

• English Proficiency
• 5+ years of experience developing JAVA/Spring Web Applications
• 3+ years of application design and development experience in a cloud environment
• Move legacy applications to adopt cloud architecture
• Expert in Java/JEE development
• Deep knowledge of the Java eco-system (REST services (REST/JSON); Spring Boot; Spring Framework)
• Good knowledge on container-orchestration system like Kubernetes (Automated application deployment; scaling;
• configuration; management); Container runtime (e.g. Docker) and Yaml language;
• Minimum of 1 years of experience in: Event-driven/microservices in the cloud, Data streaming, Data Integration (multiple platforms) and Messaging system like Apache Kafka and RabbitMQ;
• Understanding cloud storage solutions
• Experienced with continuous integration principles and tools (e.g. GIT / Maven / Jenkins / Sonar / Nexus)
• Linux / Bash
• DB development skills in platforms like SQL, MySQL, Hadoop, Cassandra, MongoDB, Redis, and Kafka, Elastic Stack.
• JPA / Hibernate
• Frontend knowledge on Angular 2x
• Be critical and constructive on the solutions analysis
• Aims to learn and use the latest technologies
• Has interest in teach/coach other team members on cloud topics;
