About the position

The position is fully remote: you'll work as an independent and self-organized individual who contributes with their work in an agile way. Working hours are 9 to 5, Lisbon time (35h/week).

As a Senior Backend developer, you’ll have the following responsibilities:

• Planing, development and testing of code regarding the backend part of our platform
• Participate in the discussion, elaboration and documentation of solutions with the technical team
• Advocate for improvements to product quality, security, performance and scalability
• Solve technical problems of moderate scope and complexity
• Craft code that meets our internal standards for style, maintainability, and best practices. Maintain and advocate for these standards through code review

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in backend development
• Demonstrated capacity to clearly and concisely communicate about complex technical, architectural and organizational problems
• Professional experience with Node.js, SQL, UML diagrams
• [Preferable] Experience with DDD, microservices and DevOps
