DESCRIPTION

• We are looking for a Backend Developer to work with the Magento Commerce platform.

• We are hiring for our office in Évora, Portugal.

• The ideal candidate should have great passion for software development, willingness to learn and innovate.

• You will have the opportunity to work with international clients and in challenging digital commerce projects of great complexity.

• We work in small agile teams, composed of elements with diverse competencies and responsibilities, but where everyone is directly involved in the whole cycle of software development.

RESPONSIBILITY

• Follow and promote the best practices in various aspects of software development (Design, Code, Scalability, Architecture and Testing)

• Develop, document and test solutions as specified and planned.

• Ability to work on complex problems.

• Be responsible for managing your time in an efficient and autonomous way.

REQUIREMENTS

• +5 years of experience in object oriented programming, preferably PHP.

• Degree and / or Masters in Computer Engineering or other similar training.

• Good SOLID skills and knowledge of design patterns.

• Experience working with agile methodologies.

• Knowledge of Continuous Delivery and Continuous Integration.

• Good knowledge of SQL.

• Experience with Git or another similar system.

• Teamwork.

• Fluency in English is mandatory.

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience working with Restful APIs.

• MVC architectures.

• Understand the concepts of Test Driven Development.

• Knowledge or experience in Magento.

• Knowledge of Symfony 2, Zend Framework, Composer, Redis, Varnish, Apache, Nginx and / or Capistrano.

• Experience in Electronic Commerce / Digital Commerce.

• Basic knowledge of server provisioning (Vagrant, Puppet and / or Docker).
