Thus, we are now looking for a new Senior Back-End Developer willing to accept new challenges!

Summary: As a Senior Back-End Developer your main responsibilities will be on developing and maintaining Desktop/Web-based/mobile applications and components of the GP SCD digital portfolio, while realizing highly scalable, high-volume microservices from conception and design, to implementation and in AWS Cloud.

It’ll be also asked of you to be providing accurate effort estimation and analysis of tasks required for development, and actively participating in daily standup meetings and become member of a scrum team. You’ll also have to maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and customers, implement best practices, standards and procedures including quality and delivery methodologies, while also having to perform code reviews and participate in defining & ensuring adherence to coding standards, while providing development estimate on stories and tasks, and translate business goals, product requirements, research and testing insights into highly desirable, intuitive products.

Are you the one?

You must have…

• 3-5 years of experience;
• English Proficiency (mandatory);
• >3 years of AWS based backend development (mandatory)
• >5 years of active Python development (mandatory)
• Working knowledge of software development tools and methodologies
• Highly experienced in Python popular frameworks like Flask and Redis for distributed microservice orchestration (Service to service communication).
• Good working experience on relational/ data warehouse DBs (PostgreSQL, Snowflake or Redshift)
• Working experience with version control (Gitlab) and tools like Confluence and Jira
• Good understanding and working experience on ORM
• Working experience and good understanding of microservices
• Experience with integrating and managing structured and unstructured data in cloud based data management systems for example with PostgreSQL or Redshift, Snowflake is a plus
• Experience designing APIs e.g. for REST and JSON
