What you will be doing:

As Scrum Master you will work with delivery teams utilizing agile practices, (e.g. Kanban and Scrum) and stakeholders to product release plans and schedules.

  • Supporting the team in technical blockages, either with your own expertise or by liaising with more experient technical stakeholders
  • You will quantify and set the success and quality criteria for the deliverables, ensuring that the solutions meet the agreed business requirements
  • Control changes to scope and ensure that impact to the roadmap and benefits is clearly understood and correctly authorized
  • Provide direct and immediate feedback (successes & failures in the course of the activity are apparent, so that behavior/approach can be adjusted as needed) and work with the team to ensure that User Stories (with Acceptance Criteria) and Tasks are broken down to the minimum, testable and estimable level
  • Ensure any blockers are removed and the delivery sprints can run smoothly
  • Be the first point of contact for escalation and also responsible for the delivery alignment and dependency management of deliverables from other Scrum teams.

What we are looking for:

  • Experience of managing and delivering in an agile environment
  • Technical background and previous experience as a developer in the Analytics field
  • Excellent communicator with good influencing skills and the ability to make yourself understood to remote teams
  • Experience working with documentation and workflow tools such as Confluence and Jira
  • Ability to guide the team to self-organise
  • Strong motivation skills to push the team to deliver
  • Facilitative and must have the ability to add value to the team
  • Support and work closely with the Product Owner for grooming and product backlog maintenance
  • Support and work closely with the Technical Lead for knowledge acquisition and a deep understanding of the technical solution of the product
  • Ability to deal with Impediments
  • Experience of Agile Transformation
  • Support the drive for Continuous Improvement
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.

What will be a plus:

  • Scrum Master (CSM) certification.
