The challenge:

• We are building the world's Leader Supply Chain Management platform. We strive to develop our systems by observing the best practices of our craft; this means writing testable, performant, easy to maintain and constantly improving code, while enabling our company to iterate our product fast and stay ahead. These are the early days of our platform, and as a Scrum Master you will Lead the scrum team in using Agile methodology and scrum practices;
• If you are a Scrum master, with experience playing the Scrum Master role for at least one year for a software development team that was diligently applying Scrum principles, practices, and theory, and you speak fluent English, join us!

What this position is all about:

• Lead the scrum team in using Agile methodology and scrum practices;
• Helping the product owner and development team to achieve customer satisfaction;
• Remove impediments and coach the scrum team on removing impediments;
• Help the scrum and development teams to identify and fill in blanks in the Agile framework;
• Resolve conflicts and issues that occur;
• Help the scrum team achieve higher levels of scrum maturity;
• Support the product owner and provide education where needed;

Please note: Our Engineering team is predominantly based in Europe. This position is currently open to residents of the European Union (UTC through UTC/UTC+), and those residents of the South and Central America (UTC-3/UTC-4/UTC-5) only.

Job requirements

You will need:

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science. Masters or higher degrees preferred;
• First level Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM I);
• Experience playing the Scrum Master role for at least one year for a software development team that was diligently applying Scrum principles, practices, and theory. Ability to analyse and think quickly and to resolve conflict;
• Knowledge of numerous well documented patterns and techniques for filling in the intentional gaps left in the Scrum approach (example: numerous Burndown techniques, numerous Retrospective formats, handling bugs, etc) Ability to determine what is scrum and what is not;
• Experience with successful Agile techniques;
• Ability to work with and lead a team;
• Ability to adapt to a changing environment;
• Self-motivation and ability to stay focused in the middle of distraction;
• The ability to communicate well with your team, both interactively and asynchronously, and that of being a positive, constructive team member.

You'll probably be a great fit if you have:

• Speak and write French;
• Experience with Azure dev. Ops;
• Figma/Sketch-driven frontend application design.
