SAP FICO Business Analyst

Job Description

The SAP FICO Business Analyst, will work as part of SAP Department’s Center of Excellence (CoE) team at Lisbon, Portugal and will be responsible for the analysis, design, configuration & support of the SAP FICO solution to meet the business requirements of MSC and its agencies worldwide.

This role requires consulting skills, business knowledge and SAP solution expertise in the Finance & Controlling modules and integration with other SAP modules, to effectively deliver, maintain, troubleshoot and enhance the SAP functionality to achieve the expected business results.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

- Implement of SAP FICO solution with production configurations and supports functional change requests, to enhance the business functionality and overall performance, while maintaining a high degree of customer satisfaction.

- Design, configure and test knowledge in FICO specifically in sub- modules: GL, AP, AR, AA, BA, CCA, IO, PCA & PA, master data, and all related daily and periodic processes and reporting.

- Acts as liaison with the SAP business users supporting to: troubleshoot, investigate, analyse and problem resolution, by mapping the business requirements, processes & objectives in line with the global template and developing necessary design and process modifications to comply with business/ local/ legal requirements.

- Act a Functional Consultant and conducts configuration changes and related documentation, unit testing and assisting in UAT, performing non- regression testing, user guidance & training, demonstrating proof of concept.

Qualifications, Experience and Competencies

- University Degree in field of expertise of Economic and Financial Sciences;
- Previous experience in Finance, Auditing and Accounting;
- 3 to 6 years of SAP Finance and Controlling experience in support projects, implementations and rollouts;
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills;
- Ability to work autonomously and under strict deadline;
- Self - motivated, quick learner and excellent team player;
- Excellent inter-personal and communication skills, with the ability to interact with teams and stakeholders at all levels;
- Strong level of English, both verbal and written.
