This role will support the Master Data Lead to implement the new end state for the business being responsible for all of the analysis required to create and maintain Master Data for Customer and Vendor.

Description

• Assist in the creation of data dictionaries to document the existing master data
• Help to cleanse and harmonise that data in a prioritised fashion
• Establish robust BAU processes using as much automation as possible to create and maintain that data. The key objective of which is a smooth handover to BAU data maintenance to ensure that data quality and integrity is maintained throughout the process
• Implement reporting to enable monitoring of data to ensure that the data remains clean once it is transferred to a BAU process

Profile

• SAP Data Analyst expert with experience of extracting, manipulating and loading large volumes of data in a SAP based environment but preferably using WinShuttle
• Hands on experience with data migration for SAP Vendor, Customer and Finance for numerous SAP implementations including QA of data post load to SAP
• Excellent working knowledge of relevant SAP tables
• Experience of SAP data cleanse projects including data profiling
• Ability to work and communicate with the business to obtain requirements and explain the results of the analysis once completed. Then to ensure business involvement in the QA of the subsequent data capture, transformation and cleansing activities
• Ability to work with the BI team to profile and cleanse data
• Experience with WinShuttle, to query SAP data, creating scripts to upload new data and transform and cleanse existing data
• Excellent Excel Skills
• Experience of Hyperion and or Infosphere would be an advantage
